NTR's NEXT WITH MURUGADOSS(?)

Tamil young director Murugadoss (of Ghazini fame) is likely to direct a film with hero NTR. Currently Murugadoss is busy giving final touches to Hindi version of Ghazini starring Aamir Khan. Producer Singanmala Ramesh who has the dates of NTR is trying to rope in Murugadoss as the director.

It remains to be seen whether this hot combination will really happen or not. Murugadoss is known for making films in realistic manner without losing commercial touch. And in his films, heroes get great mileage. Hence NTR is also very keen to do a movie with him.

Pawan Kalyan turns producer?

After dabbling at direction, Pawan Kalyan now branches out into film production. He has already set up production house and is planning to start his maiden film as producer next year. Interestingly, he will not be acting in the movie but his brother’s son Ram Charan Teja will feature as the hero. Impressed with director Trivikram’s work in Jalsa, the ‘power star’ has asked Trivikram to direct this movie for him and also paid him a token advance, sources said. As per information that Trivikram might start this film in December 2009.

Pawan always wanted to be a producer and make low and medium budgeted movies but he could not produce for various reasons. As he got much-needed blockbuster with Jalsa, he is venturing into other than the acting.

Currently Ram Charan is shooting for hotshot director S S Rajamouli’s period-romantic drama. Soon after this he will be working for Anajana Productions’ movie to be directed by Bhaskar.

Trisha singing A R Rahman song ?

If the sources are to be believed Trisha is all set to sing a song soon. Apparently, this talented self-taught singer is planning to sing a song composed by A.R. Rahman. Trisha is counting on her upcoming Tamil film Abhiyum Naanum, in which she has given a tremendous performance. At present, she is also acting in King.

It seems Trisha loves singing and sings very well too, but is extremely shy about performing in front of an audience. She is a great fan of A.R. Rahman.

Dil Raju asks JD to direct a film

Producer and distributor Dil Raju is impressed with J D Chekravarthy’s directorial capabilities so much so that he immediately offered JD a film to direct. Dil Raju has bought the distribution rights of J D Chekravarthy’s directorial venture, Homam, for entire Andhra Pradesh.

After watching the film’s final product, Dil Raju is said to have bowled over by JD’s talent as director. He then asked me to do a romantic entertainer for his production, Chekravarthy tells the media.

Homam is releasing on August 28th while the film stars Jagapathi Babu and Mamta Mohanas as the lead pair. Koneru Kumar has produced it.
